Lead Software Engineer (.NET/Angular)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven Lead Software Engineer to join our Ipendo team in Belgrade. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Clarivate IPG products.  The work is focused on the development and maintenance of our web-based applications for the Intellectual Property Market while actively shaping the future of given products, as well as team practices and processes.
 

About you – experience, education, skills and accomplishments

• 5+ years of experience developing robust and scalable software solutions using .NET C#
• 3+ years of experience developing web applications using Angular
   

It would be great if you also had . . .

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Design, or related field
• Good knowledge of SQL Server databases
• Experience with implementing and testing integrations between multiple systems
• Experience and understanding of OAuth2 and SAML protocol as well as Single Sign-On solutions
• Experience with code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring other developers
   

What will you be doing in this role?

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with coding standards
• Define the architecture of the software solution
• Implement software for specifications of high complexity for limited-scale systems, or medium to high complexity for large-scale systems
• Implement design changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, and standardization through analysis of designs and problem-solving techniques
• Provide guidance for new procedures as needed for the continuing development of high-quality systems
• Provide technical training to other team members

A comprehensive and configurable IPMS, Ipendo helps corporations to manage their assets across the entire IP lifecycle drive awareness, improve strategic decision making, and increase market competitiveness. The system is not just a traditional docketing system, it also manages workflow, provides insights into portfolio, and process analytics, and gives the user a tailored view of the data allowing them to easily find and act on any necessary decision-making processes required to manage the portfolio. At its core, Ipendo provides a central repository for an organization’s entire IP portfolio while also allowing collaboration amongst all contributors. This world-class IP management system empowers innovation, elevates IP management and protection capabilities, and facilitates agile portfolio management and optimization.

About the Team 

We are an agile distributed team with many years of combined experience in developing .NET and Database solutions, having refined and perfected our IP Management system during many years of adopting the latest technologies. We’re a compact international team, with several members, including one Software Engineer and two QA Engineers who located in Belgrade.

Hours of Work   

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone. 

This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
