Travelport is the brains behind lots of your travel bookings- plane, car or hotel. Our technology is used to book that magical holiday, infamous bachelorette party or long overdue school reunion. While we can’t solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we’re looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.

We’re hiring right now for a Team lead! Search for #TravelportGdl on LinkedIn and hear from our amazing team.

How you’ll make an impact:

You will be a significant contributor to Travelport’s Shopping space by:

  • Ensuring weekly releases meet Travelport quality and security standards.
  • Helping to reduce time to move to Production using CI/CD.
  • Ensuring a robust regression test suite teams can trust.
  • Delivering major initiatives that are mission-critical to the organization.
  • Trailblazing for the organization and the industry into modern technologies and strategies.

Your role in action:

You will be working with three teams to document, coordinate, and review initiatives, maintaining workflow to improve production, regression, testing, and deployment.

Ensuring weekly releases meet Travelport quality and security standards.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform release management for six applications being worked across three teams pushing changes to Production weekly.
  • Provide ideas and make changes to improve automated release processes.
  • Ownership of our Katalon regression test suite – work with the development teams to ensure adequate test coverage and validation - extend this knowledge to other areas of the SLC
  • Help developers, leadership and Travelports’ technical help desk to triage and identify Production issues – this may include reaching out to airlines directly to resolve issues.

Could this be you?

You know OpenShift and can seamlessly deploy and troubleshoot applications.

You would also be keen on AWS deployment processes.

You drive release management and other processes through the teams.

You know the importance of CI/CD and can recommend and make improvements in GitHub workflows.

You get into the depths of metrics and log files to triage and identify application issues.
