Your day at NTT DATA
We are looking for an experienced Sitecore Lead Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of complex Sitecore-based solutions, working closely with architects, developers, and other stakeholders. You will leverage your deep knowledge of Sitecore and .NET technologies to build, maintain, and optimize Sitecore solutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Sitecore development and be Sitecore certified.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of Sitecore developers, ensuring high-quality code delivery and adherence to best practices.
- Sitecore Development: Lead the design and development of Sitecore-based websites and applications, including content management, personalization, and commerce solutions.
- Customization & Integration: Develop custom Sitecore modules, features, and integrations with third-party systems, such as CRM, marketing automation platforms, and e-commerce tools.
- Technical Excellence: Ensure that all development activities meet the required technical specifications and quality standards. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in .NET, C#, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and XHTML.
- Sitecore Configuration & Management: Manage and configure Sitecore instances, including Sitecore Experience Platform (XP), Sitecore Experience Commerce (XC), and Sitecore on the cloud (Azure or AWS).
- Performance Optimization: Work to improve the performance of Sitecore websites, ensuring they are scalable, high-performing, and optimized for user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (design, QA, product management) to ensure the delivery of the best possible user experience.
- Code Reviews & Best Practices: Conduct code reviews and enforce coding best practices and standards. Ensure consistent and proper use of Sitecore features, such as content management, personalization, and workflows.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues, applying fixes and improvements as necessary.
- Agile Methodology: Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Follow Agile development practices to ensure continuous delivery and iterative improvement.
- Documentation: Ensure that detailed documentation is created and maintained for Sitecore implementations, including architecture, deployment processes, and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing Sitecore-based solutions and a solid understanding of Sitecore's architecture and frameworks.
- Strong experience with Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) and Sitecore Experience Commerce (XC).
- Sitecore Certification (Sitecore 9.x or higher) is required.
- Strong expertise in .NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XHTML, and SQL Server.
- Experience with Sitecore’s APIs, WebAPI, xConnect, and Solr.
- Proficiency in developing custom Sitecore templates, layouts, items, and renderings.
- Experience with Sitecore personalization, marketing automation, and multilingual site development.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or TFS.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, specifically for Sitecore solutions.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimizing Sitecore applications for speed and scalability.
- Experience integrating Sitecore with third-party systems like CRM, ERP, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with content delivery networks (CDNs) and Sitecore media libraries.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and their application within Sitecore.
