Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a development team, ensuring proper task distribution and goal achievement.
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Refactor and optimize existing codebases, ensuring adherence to best practices and modern software architecture principles.
- Plan and define technical strategies with the team, making decisions on architecture and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments, ensuring that developed solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Conduct code reviews, enforcing coding standards, best practices, and design principles.
- Contribute to the platform's evolution, optimizing performance, security, and scalability.
- Ensure the development of comprehensive unit tests to maintain software quality and reduce defects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Advanced experience in TypeScript and NodeJS for backend development.
- Solid knowledge of AWS, including services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, S3, among others.
- Knowledge of PHP. Expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and best practices for building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications.
- Ability to lead, organize, and coordinate development teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Experience in task planning and distribution, ensuring efficient and high-quality deliveries.
- Experience handling legacy code, refactoring, and improving existing codebases while ensuring minimal disruption.
- Strong focus on unit testing, behavior driven development and test driven development to ensure code reliability.
