Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to build out the software needed to manage and operate our manufacturing facilities across the U.S. with the vision to create 95% autonomous manufacturing for single family homes. You will be the visionary technology leader responsible for driving the strategic direction of the engineering needs and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software that will enable ARCbuild to scale into a multi-billion-dollar unicorn.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create a product roadmap to build the vision of autonomous factories for the construction affordable homes, while automating the entire manufacturing process end-to-end
• Collaborate closely with management to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code in your chosen OOP language
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
• Guide and mentor future engineering hires as the team grows
• Own the entire technical stack and architecture
• Build a scalable and reliable platform to support future growth
• Play a foundational role in the company’s engineering culture

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in any object-oriented programming language
• Experience designing and building full-stack applications
• Proven ability to make architectural decisions and lead technical projects
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability and willingness to work on multiple, interacting applications (Gen-AI based floor plan and render creation, agentic procurement and order management software, computer vision-based quality control, etc.)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Experience in the construction / real estate industry and/or advanced manufacturing is a big plus
