Sev1Tech is looking for a Lead Software Engineer for the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Ordnance Information System (OIS) modernization effort to provide overarching technical expertise on a mission-critical program whose purpose is to develop, modernize, and enhance services for the NAVSUP OIS application.
In this hands-on position, you will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems. You will exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines, and other resource constraints. You will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle of a mission critical product including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing. The right candidate will lead an Agile Scrum development team and work with our program’s developers, engineers, operations, and integration teams to support a complex program using Scaled Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
This position is remote but visits to customer site (Mechanicsburg, PA) will be required. Currently, customer site visits for Program Increment Planning occur twice per year, one week each.
