Aim to deliver the highest quality customer driven software whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring and supporting their engineering teams. They will work in cross-disciplinary teams delivering exciting customer driven solutions and high quality software and showcase excellent interpersonal and communication skill whilst efficiently working across the project life cycle to ensure software operates as intended. They will be an advocate for Engineering, providing a voice to engineers within the teams, identifying and supporting their teams in resolution of impediments and issues as well as continually developing themselves with industry best practice and tooling used across their engineering team. This is a leadership level role and will blend both deep domain and technical expertise within a feature team and great passion for coaching and developing people in a βplayer-coachβ model.Job Description

Job Details:
Develops and/or delivers budget plans for own area with guidance from senior colleagues.
Meets the needs of significant customers related to complex, often customised products and services and/or manages a customer advisor department over a significant area.
Takes responsibility for implementing formal development frameworks for a substantial department, while informally coaching and mentoring others throughout the organisation and investing in own personal development.
Identifies shortcomings, then suggests and implements improvements to existing business practices, while developing and delivering projects or a workstream within the organisation's change management programme with guidance from senior colleagues.
Provides input into the development of IT Security policies, develops underlying procedures and monitors their implementation for area of responsibility within the organisation.
Manages the development and/or operation of knowledge management system with guidance from senior colleagues.
Develops and/or delivers a plan for a specific area of responsibility by managing others.
Sets longer term objectives and takes responsibility for implementing and coordinating performance management systems for a substantial department within the organisation.
Analyses and evaluates the feasibility/relevance of proposals for complex products/services, then develops and amends as necessary with guidance from senior colleagues and/or supervises activities performed by a product development/specialist team.
Manages a significant portion of the organisation's risk management and/or control process, contributing to the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
Makes sure that a portfolio of suppliers are delivering required levels of service while reporting to senior colleagues.
Identifies and evaluates complex expertise-led solutions against a range of criteria to find the ones that best meet business needs.
Develops tactical plans for optimisation of resources and assets being managed within a given area or department.
Develops and/or delivers elements of a strategic planning system with guidance from senior colleagues.
Meets changing requirements by developing new testing approaches and strategy for a defined range of products and/or operations.
