About the Team:

We are part of Corporate Functions catering to all applications used by Corporate Finance team. We closely work with Accounting and Recon, Financial Planning and Analysis, Regulatory Reporting, Procurement and Treasury functions of Finance Business.

Impact (Job Summary/Why this Role Matters)

This position offers opportunities to design, develop, and maintain solutions within the Clarity PPM (Project Portfolio Management) platform. This role involves configuring Clarity PPM modules, developing custom extensions, integrating with other enterprise systems, and ensuring optimal system performance. Also responsible for collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and IT teams to support project management processes and business objectives.

Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Configure and customize Clarity PPM modules (e.g., Project Management, Resource Management, Financials).
  • Develop Gel Scripts, NSQL queries, and custom portlets to enhance reporting and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Work on XOG (XML Open Gateway) scripts for bulk data imports/exports
  • Implement process automation using Clarity workflows and job scheduling and performance optimization of queries and reports ensuring data integrity.
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution within the Clarity PPM platform.
  • Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements and provide technical support.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
  • Work with PMOs, Business Analysts, and IT teams to align Clarity PPM solutions with business needs.
  • Document technical solutions, system configurations, and best practices.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualification (Functional and Technical Skills)

  • Bachelor’s degree in “Computer science”, Information Science, or related discipline with 5+ years of experience in Programming.
  • Relevant experience on Clarity PPM development, configuration, and support.
  • Preferred area of experience: Expertise in Clarity PPM, NSQL, XOG, GEL scripting, JavaScript, XML.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle/MS SQL) and performance tuning. Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations. Experience with Clarity Studio, Custom Portlets, and JasperSoft Reports is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clarity PPM certification or relevant training.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to cloud-based Clarity PPM environments.

Relationships & Collaboration

  • Ensure great Partnership with IT counterparts (India as well as US associates).
  • Be available for vendor connects if any.
  • Collaborate with Business wherever necessary.
