The Job Details are as follows:

The Lead Software Engineer will join the development staff that is performing analysis and design of software programs and systems and create, analyze, design, modify and test programs and systems. They will also act as subject matter expert.

  • You have a self-driven proactive mindset and possess strong analytical skills. You have deep experience building large scale distributed systems and taking them live to customers. You have a result-oriented aptitude with a passion for problem solving and a track record of delivering quality products.
  • You know how your customers use your products and are excited by the challenge of building something even greater. You will be engaged in multiple development projects and have opportunity to lead and deliver large projects.Β 
  • You are expected to communicate effectively with customers and lead conversations across teams, build robust and thorough project documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline required and/or 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven expertise in design, development and delivery of automated data pipelines built on micro-services as well as distributed parallel computing platforms.
  • Excellent Java skills with coding experience, proficient in object-oriented design and UNIX-like shell scripting.
  • Strong experience in Hadoop eco-system, MapReduce and Spark programming paradigm.
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot, Apache Tomcat, Maven, Gradle, Ant, JUnit, Spock, Mockito.
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD and test automation.
