About the Role: Lead Software Developer - Oracle Fusion ERP / Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)
The Team: Join the Corporate Finance IT EPM Team, which is responsible for managing Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications. This includes various aspects of Financial Reporting, Revenue, Corporate, Statutory, and Tax reporting, as well as Chart of Accounts & Hierarchies Master Data management (EDMCS), Consolidations (FCCS), Reconciliations (ARCS), Finance Cubes development and management (EPBCS), and Financial Close processes in a techno-functional project development environment.
Responsibilities and Impact: The role involves overseeing accounting period close and consolidation processes. The individual should have a thorough understanding of reporting, reconciliation processes, audit requests, and ensure compliance with SOX policies and procedures related to financial accounting.
Serve as an Administrator for the Oracle EPM suite, utilizing Financial Accounting and Reconciliation processes to perform consolidation, close, manage accounting master data, and analyze Planning Cubes for various financial dimensions across the Enterprise.
Act as Administrator to Oracle EPM Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) application.
Collaborate with domestic and international retained staff, third parties, Treasury, Intercompany, AP & OTC teams, Global Accountants, Global Controllers, and all global business unit leaders to achieve team and company objectives.
Work with the latest cutting-edge technologies, including Oracle EPM and various automation initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Over 10 years of strong experience in Finance and Accounting operations as per ASC 606 standards.
Certification and/or specialization in Global Finance Reporting based on US GAAP.
Coordinate accounting close activities, reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and journal entries for financial close with Controllers, Sub-ledger teams, and business unit heads following SOX compliance.
Flexible to work in shifting schedules, primarily to match extended US working hours (EST time zone), and render overtime when there is a strong business need, such as monthly closing of financial books or preparation of financial or reporting statements.
Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, and/or EPM Smart View reporting tools.
Provide ad-hoc support for timely closure of accounting books and resolve issues.
Perform backfill and support for other accountants in the team and act as a backup.
Handle extensive audits during quarter and year-end close with minimal supervision.
Maintain thorough documentation of all processes.
Work on process enhancements and automation efforts, with nice-to-have experience in Power Automate tools or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact and collaborate with internal employees, Corporate Controllers, and divisional customers at all levels.
Ability to analyze and resolve issues timely and efficiently.
High degree of accuracy and workload management; understanding of contributions to the overall end-to-end process; ability to meet deadlines is critical.
Must be able to work independently, be accountable for processes/tasks performed.
Basic Required Qualifications:
Certified Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant degree or equivalent preferred.
Over 10 years of revenue accounting experience and other record-to-report functions.
Preferred to have experience with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system or HFM application or equivalent.
Preferred to have experience with Oracle FCCS application or willingness to master it.
Proficiency in Reporting tools preferred.
Willingness to learn new systems and legacy systems quickly.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required; ability to interact and collaborate with internal and external IT teams, Controllers, and divisional teams at all levels of management.
Skills in dealing with various internal cross-functional teams and management required.
High degree of accuracy and management of heavy workload; understanding of contributions to the overall end-to-end process; possess a global perspective of how functions impact the company.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Must be assertive in following up on resolving issues; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Must be able to work independently, be accountable for processes/tasks performed, and understand when to escalate issues to management.
