SCW.AI by Supply Chain Wizard is a fast-growing technology startup that achieved great product market fit with its Digital Factory platform, has stellar reference customers in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry; and we are looking to build our GMP Solutions Team after recently closing on a strong Series A fundraising with prestigious investors.

The Role  

We are looking for a Lead Software Developer to drive the design, development, and implementation of our GMP-compliant solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires a strong technical foundation, leadership skills, and an understanding of manufacturing and quality processes in regulated environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, high-quality software solutions that meet industry standards.

** Role is based in Turkey, preferred to be in Izmir but not mandatory. Candidates based outside of Izmir must be available for in-person meetings in Izmir as part of team collaboration.

As a member of the SCW.AI team, you will:

• Lead the design and development of GMP-compliant software solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality management.
• Ensure that software development aligns with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Computer System Validation (CSV) requirements.
• Drive the technical roadmap, making architectural decisions to enhance system performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, validation, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Develop and maintain core system components, APIs, and integrations.
• Oversee code quality, performance optimization, and best practices across the development team.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Support the deployment and post-go-live maintenance of GMP solutions at customer sites.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug SaaS, multi-tenant, scalable, and B2B web applications in the cloud
• Apply and implement both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Implement automated testing practices
• Drive engineering excellence through continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
• Proactively manage and take ownership of technical issues
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail
• Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable code
• Facilitate technical discussions
  

Desired Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of Software Development experience; 4+ years of experience in building highly complex and scalable systems.
• Strong team building and managing experience.
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Angular, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, NoSQL
• Experience in writing Unit andIntegrationTests.
• Super communication skills; ability to comfortably interact with tech and non-tech colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience to interact with colleagues from multiple geo-locations.
• Extensive knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile software development lifecycles, including practices such as code review, pair programming, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Extensive experience in Service Oriented Architectures, Microservice and working with RESTful APIs.
• Strong S.O.L.I.D knowledge.
• Ability to use the most appropriate tool, not the newest or the most popular
• Knowledge/Experience in Software Design Patterns
  
  

• Experience with system architecture or leading a software team is a strong advantage
• Proficient in the Node.js ecosystem (NestJS, TypeORM, Node 14+)
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Experience with Python ecosystem (Django, Django REST Framework)
• Familiarity with ELK stack, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Redis
