Set things in motion.
- Lead the technical architecture and development of our Data Hub and Data Lab platforms
- Design and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and self-service tools – with Python as a core technology
- Build and maintain an event-driven data architecture with a focus on real-time processing
- Administer and enhance our Azure Databricks workspaces
- Deploy pipelines using Databricks Asset Bundles and automate workflows via GitHub Actions
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Pulumi or Terraform
- Collaborate with product owners and data scientists to deliver impactful data use cases
- Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., Data Mesh, Lakehouse, Generative AI)
Use your skills.
- Strong proficiency in Python – essential for development, automation, and infrastructure
- Several years of experience building data platforms or data-driven applications
- Solid knowledge of technologies such as Spark, Airflow, dbt, etc.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS and Azure
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, including workspace administration
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Pulumi or Terraform)
- Familiarity with event streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, EventHub)
- Understanding of data governance, security, and scalability
- You can successfully manage and align cross-team collaboration to achieve strategic goals
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a passion for innovation
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English. German is a plus.
