We are seeking a Senior Qlik Developer with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in incentive compensation analytics. The ideal candidate will design and implement advanced Qlik-based dashboards and reporting solutions to support sales performance, incentive compensation, and compliance-related metrics. This role requires deep expertise in Qlik Sense/QlikView, data integration, and pharma-specific business processes.
• Qlik Development and Visualization:
o Design, develop, and optimize Qlik Sense/QlikView dashboards to analyze incentive compensation and sales performance.
o Create interactive visualizations for tracking KPIs, quota attainment, payout accuracy, and compliance metrics.
• Pharma-Specific Data Modelling:
o Develop robust data models tailored to pharmaceutical sales structures, including multi-tier hierarchies, regional sales metrics, and therapeutic area performance.
o Ensure adherence to compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) in all data processes.
• Incentive Compensation Analytics:
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate pharma incentive plans into automated calculations and visual reports.
o Validate data accuracy for critical compensation metrics like call activity, sales attainment, and payout calculations.
• Data Integration and Management:
o Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
o Design and maintain reusable data models to streamline future reporting efforts.
o Troubleshoot data discrepancies and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
o Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and team members.
o Present findings and dashboards to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Maintenance and Documentation:
o Ensure ongoing maintenance, updates, and improvements to Qlik dashboards and reports.
o Document processes, workflows, and design decisions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
o Monitor system performance and resolve any technical issues.
• Expert-level knowledge of Qlik Sense/QlikView, scripting, and data visualization best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with pharma-specific datasets (IMS, IQVIA, Symphony Health, etc.) and their integration.
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical sales models, incentive compensation structures, and compliance regulations.
• Experience working with pharma-specific CRM systems such as Veeva or Salesforce.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities to resolve data discrepancies and optimize reporting efficiency.
• Ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets to support sales operations and decision-making.
• Knowledge of cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
• Experience in scripting languages like Python or R is advantageous.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree may be preferred but is not always required.
• 6+ years in Qlik development, with at least 3 years focusing on the pharmaceutical domain.
• Experience in designing dashboards for global pharma sales teams and aligning them with regulatory standards.
• Proven track record of working with incentive compensation systems and pharma data providers.
