Position Overview
R&D Lead will be both a hands-on engineer and a visionary strategist, driving the design, development, and optimization of the technologies behind our interactive video platform. You’ll lead high-stakes, high-complexity projects, challenge technical approaches, and push the entire team to raise the bar. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of key R&D initiatives, including AI-driven personalization, real-time interactive video, and e-commerce integrations.
- Evaluate and challenge technical solutions to ensure efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
- Architect and optimize platform components to support high-performance, real-time interactions for millions of users.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to align R&D efforts with company objectives.
- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Utilize data and market insights to drive innovation, prioritize initiatives, and measure the impact of R&D efforts.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in React, Node.js, and JavaScript for front-end and back-end development.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including security, scalability, and deployment best practices
- Background in AI, real-time video, or e-commerce is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and execute complex technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to challenge assumptions while optimizing technical solutions.
- Experience mentoring and guiding technical teams.
