What You Will Do

• Lead and manage the manual software testing efforts, overseeing the creation of test plans, test cases, and their execution to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies
• Manage the QA team, distributing workload, setting goals for QA engineers, and conducting performance reviews for team members
• Identify, analyze, and document software defects and anomalies, and track them through resolution
• Define and maintain test environments, ensuring they are properly set up and configured for accurate testing
• Participate in the establishment of QA processes
• Participate in reviews of software requirements, design documents, and system architecture to provide feedback and ensure testing requirements are addressed
• Mentor and guide QA team members, providing coaching and support to help them enhance their skills
• Collaborate with automation engineers to develop and execute automated test scripts, as appropriate

What We Need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manual software testing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in creating test plans, test cases, test strategies, and executing tests to ensure software quality
• Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools
• Experience with QA processes establishment
• Experience with QA management, including setting goals and conducting performance reviews for the team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
