Description

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our expanding team and support the vision for Identity an Access Management at JPMC. Our team is responsible for the PKI infrastructure that is foundational for the firm’s on-prem and cloud-hosted applications.

As a Senior Systems Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the IAM field, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, applying deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications. 

Job responsibilities

  • Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of high complexity
  • Drive a workstream or project to provide engineering support for a vendor product for Digital Certification Lifecycle Management on the Windows platform
  • Works with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes
  • Executes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexity
  • Work with the product vendor to ensure optimal runtime operation of the vendor product
  • Strongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • 10+ years Systems Engineering experience operating vendor products in the Windows environment. 
  • Experience directly operating the Key Factor product 
  • Experience setting up, configuring windows servers including clustering; Working with large volumes of data, ETL processes
  • Deep working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Powershell
  • Experience with one or more PKI products like Active Directory Certificate Services, EJBCA, Keyfactor, AWS PCA 
  • Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
  • Keen understanding of PKI concepts, standards and algorithms
