One of our companies is currently looking for a Lead Software Developer/Product Owner in the United States.

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Software Developer/Product Owner to oversee the development of a proprietary software product within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. This role combines hands-on development, team leadership, and strategic product ownership. You’ll lead a team of developers, prioritize and manage initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to transform business needs into scalable solutions. Your technical expertise, strong communication skills, and ability to think both tactically and strategically will play a key role in shaping the future of this impactful platform.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead a development team as both product owner and team lead, managing Agile ceremonies and mentoring developers
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions through effective prioritization and collaboration with stakeholders
  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable code aligned with best practices
  • Oversee key systems, ensuring they are maintained, monitored, and optimized
  • Guide architectural decisions, technical planning, and prototype development
  • Break down complex initiatives into actionable items and assign work based on team capabilities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across development processes and product outcomes



Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in software development using object-oriented languages, with strong proficiency in Java 8+
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or coaching capacity
  • Solid experience leading software development projects from planning to delivery
  • Comfortable working with MySQL on large data sets
  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and drive resolutions efficiently
  • Preferred: Experience with JIRA, Confluence, UNIX/Linux, and collaboration with DevOps/Data Engineering teams
