RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical specifications in the Stibo STEP platform.
  • Design, develop, and customize STEP modules, including workflows, business rules (JavaScript), WebUI, attributes, and reporting functionalities.
  • Lead full lifecycle implementation of STEP solutions, ensuring performance optimization, maintainability, and compliance with PIM/MDM best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership to the development team, including mentoring, establishing coding standards, and conducting code reviews.
  • Drive resolution of complex technical issues within the STEP environment, ensuring stability and system uptime.
  • Manage development and deployment pipelines through Azure DevOps, including version control, CI/CD, and documentation maintenance.
  • Coordinate with product owners, solution architects, and other stakeholders to align technical delivery with business priorities.
  • Engage in STEP/PIM/MDM community activities, stay updated on industry trends, and promote continuous innovation and knowledge sharing. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Stibo STEP technical development and platform configuration.
  • Proven track record of leading multiple end-to-end STEP (PIM/MDM) implementations, with deep knowledge of STEP data models, architecture, and layered environments (core/shared/custom namespaces).
  • Strong expertise in STEP-specific features such as workflows, variant creation, WebUI customization, monitoring, and reporting
  • Solid understanding of Product and Customer MDM, PIM principles, and related integration landscapes (e.g., PLM or PDS).
  • Proficient in JavaScript for business rule development and comfortable working in complex, highly customized STEP environments.
  • Experienced in agile project environments and tools like Azure DevOps for backlog management, pipeline configuration, and documentation
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Stibo Systems certification is required or highly preferred
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
