As part of the Enterprise Technology team at Cox Automotive Europe, our Product Engineering group is building a Connected Platform—a next-gen, cloud-native product designed to unify our systems and offer customers a single view of their assets.

This Greenfield initiative will shape our business for the next decade and beyond, and we’re looking for a hands-on Lead Developer to help drive it forward.

💼 The Role

As a Lead Developer, you’ll:

• Lead a small, agile team of developers and QAs.

• Shape technical direction and architecture using modern cloud-native practices.

• Write, review, and maintain high-quality code.

• Work cross-functionally with product managers, architects, and UX/UI experts.

• Mentor your team and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

• Cloud: AWS

• Languages: .NET 7, JavaScript, Python

• Infrastructure: Linux, Docker, Terraform, AWS EKS/ECS, Lambda

• Databases: Aurora (MySQL/Postgres), DynamoDB, DocumentDB

• Messaging: Kafka, EventBridge, SNS/SQS

• Frontend: React

• CI/CD: GitHub Actions

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience leading dev teams in Agile environments.

• Hands-on with .NET, AWS, IaC (Terraform), and event-driven architectures.

• Strong grounding in TDD and secure, scalable system design.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Passion for mentoring and bringing out the best in others.

• Experience with Docker, microservices, SQL/NoSQL, and Kafka.
